Every year at this time, the Metropolis of Chicago acquaints the Orthodox Christian faithful as to the Holy Lenten period worship offerings so that all may participate fully in this most Holy season.

'Solemn Vespers' are celebrated on each Sunday evening throughout Holy and Great Lent. The 'Solemn Vespers' ('Κατανυχτικός Εσπερινινός') is one of the many divine services of our Holy Church through which all Orthodox Christians are given the opportunity to worship the Lord, to strengthen their prayer life and commitment to the One Who blesses, forgives and saves us from sin and death.

God bless you all

In His Holy Diakonia,

+Father George
